Thoughts/opinions/input on this low recoil saiga shotgun set-up for th

Recommended Posts

OK so I want to make a shotgun set up with little to no recoil & I want it to have fast easy target acquistion & be easy to use. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

an

AK-47 to AR-15 Stock Adapter

(are the Saiga 12's & 20's the same receiver block stuff as an AK-47? I know the Saiga 12 Platform is similar but is it all the same as an AK-47?)

an

Enidine Incorporated hydraulic Recoil Buffer receiver extension tube

(bottom of page)

or

a

Vltor Enhanced Modstock (EMOD)

an

EOTech 512.A65 holo sight

Not sure if I should also put all this onto a Saiga 20 rather than a Saiga 12 for even less recoil. (PS wife is 5'4" & 110lbs so the less recoil the better)

Can't seem to find any Saiga 20's for sale right now either. Anyone know where I can find one cheap cheap?

Oh & I'm thinking of a way short barrel like the 8" one on Tromix.

I think read on Tromix that there are no new orders going through right now or something because they are so busy (correct me if I'm wrong on that because I'm not sure).

So where else can I get an 8" barrel that's threaded so I can put one of those shark brakes/breachers on it?

LOL nope I live in the wild west (AZ) it's no problem for me & I'm getting familiar with the process right now because I just bought 3 sound suppressors for which the process is just about the same.

Not being captain obvious. You may well have helped a newbie that had no idea & would've saved him time & hassel, so IMO it never hurts to ask.

Honestly, I have never considered the S12 as a shotgun that has any amount of recoil worth bothering with... maybe its just me...

But then I am used to shooting things like the .308 Lazzeroni Warbird out of a Sako with a nice light synthetic stock, the .416 Remington Magnum out of a Ruger Model 1, and of course... Old Faithful... My .50 BMG rifle...

Compared to those... I havent found a semi-auto shotgun that kicked enough to even think about...

Yeah but I'm willing to bet you can handle the recoil better than my 110lb wife. LOL
