Thanks. http://www.leapers.com/pages/mounting_syst...-rail_mount.htm Im telling you if you want to go quad rail you should go ultimak, the utg does not allow co-witness as its a tad to high. I bought the factory saiga for only $250 awhile back and spent $110 on conversion parts. I can't justify spending $300 on th ultimak quad rail.

ZERO complaints.. ZERO moving.. rock solid mounting points.. etc.. but its just not for some people due to the cost... with that said im willing to bet there is a substantial difference between the quality of the ultimak VS the one posted.. i am eager to see if the new rails they are putting out co-witness.. still looks high to me, but DEFINATELY looks better than the old ones they were selling... but who knows.. i know i wont be getting rid of my ultimak stuff any time soon.. good luck with it Edited April 4, 2009 by DamagedWorld
uzitiger 193
How do these rails feel when the barrel gets hot? Do they protect the hand from the hot barrel? How will the handguards feel after shooting a few hundred rounds (as if we can afford to do that anymore), will the sharp edges hurt the hands? devildog1122 0
How do these rails feel when the barrel gets hot? Do they protect the hand from the hot barrel? How will the handguards feel after shooting a few hundred rounds (as if we can afford to do that anymore), will the sharp edges hurt the hands? I have read reviews on similar quad rail on other AKs and they said is not even warm. This newest Saiga 762 quad rails will come with rubber rail gaurds. If you want to see a demonstration go here http://leapers.com/pages/mounting_systems/tri-rail_mount.htm Choose AK link on the left hand side and click on SAIGA 7.62X39 Tactical Quad Rails MNT-HGSG39
unclejake 428
Several months back, I ordered one of the UTG Quad rails from a non-Saiga forum vendor that advertised it as fitting the Saigas. Well that one didn't fit it, that was before the new one came out. I was disappointed because it is a really solid nice piece of equipment!! I already bought a tri-rail for my x39, but I may order one yet! A lot of bang for the buck!!
mak0 0
I just ordered one of those new UTG Saiga 7.62x39 quad rails. I'll be sure to post pictures and a review later this week when I receive it.
usmc_mwroseberry 0
I already picked up a new (used) vented gas tube and think I'm going to stick with the UTG rail for the M70 as it appears to be much lighter weight. The UTG uses heavy material and I'm afraid it will make the weapon much too front heavy. If you could please give a complete review once you have it installed I want to know how it ends up balancing. Thank you, Merritt SGT USMC vet.
gpqueen 545
I just got 10 of those in for the 7.62/ 223 Saiga. First time they have released one for the Saiga. I will have them on my site for $89.95. They look great and also come with rail covers. http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/se...uad-rail/Detail Greg
opto_isolator 3
Hmmm - interesting. I have the ultimak upper and lower - its an awesome setup, however its pricey as hell. This looks nice, and costs a hell of a lot less. Let's see some pics when you get this. I'd love hear a review!
