Then remove the tang screws from the rear trunion and rear receiver bottom. They are a tight fit, so you may have to tap the buttstock out with a rubber mallet (I did). BTW, it comes in 5.56x45 (223 Remington). SAR-2s come in 5.45x39. AFAIK, there is no 5.56x39. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Take off the screws (3) and PULL. (1 is under your dust cover)... and to answer your next question....Yes, you can put on a PG Legally (if you have the right parts count, 'cause it's Now an Assualt Rifle....
