First, they cost a fortune to ship...and if the manufacturer forgets to put air holes in the box you have a real problem. Returns are a hassle if they don't fit properly. They require an UNBELIEVABLE amount of maintenance. And I found that they were having a negative impact on my overall effectiveness. My slide kept short-stroking and causing ejection problems, I was ripping my shots off too early to try and compensate, and the increased recoil left me really, really sore.
