jtoddellis 2
I finally got the butstock for my saiga 12 conversion in yesterday and installed it last night. Today I was showing off my shotgun at work and of course someone wanted to buy it. I said it wasn't for sale and then sat down to figure out what I actually had in this thing. Let me go ahead and say I know I paid too much for the shotgun to start with. Saiga-12 19" threaded for chokes (including tax) $412 Fire controle group (RPB including shipping) 40 Saw grip from Tapco (including shipping) 34 Buttstock from K-Var (including shipping) 48 Flash Hider from Johnymcloodo ( on its way) 50 Full Choke from FinnSaiga (on its way) 51 Raised front sight from Rusmilitary (not yet ordered) 51 ___ $686.
dodgeturbointerceptor 1
dude......don't even get me thinking about it........ 200.00 shotgun with about 1,000.00 in accessories....
RDSWriter 5
I know... it can hurt to think about the amount of $$ put into these. But I don't think any of us really care about how much we've spent... not one of us. There is nothing else like Saiga shotguns on the market... nothing. ADDITIONALLY... HOW MUCH would you have been willing to pay if the AWB was still around and (theoretically) there were only a handful civilian legal PG versions and 8 round mags? They would be going for $1000s. jtoddellis 2
It will all be worth it if my choke shows up before someone has a skeet shoot around here. The weather was really nice this weekend so it won't be long. I just hope I can hit with it. It feels a little odd when I pull it up to my shoulder. I guess we will see. G O B 3,516
SAIGA's are addictive! I have an S-12, an S.308 and the wife has a S-.410. I just GOTTA HAVE an S-7.62-39, an S-.223, and an S-.30-06! The mythical magical UNIMPORTABLE S.30-06! G O B
BattleRifleG3 16
Now that EAA's out of the Saiga loop, we may have a better chance of seeing the 30-06 Saiga 100s.
RooK 0
My converted .308 16" has about $420 invested in it. I'm pretty sure I can get that back out of it with little difficulty at this point in time, due to lack of firearms with low prices and the conversion is already done. Still, I love it and have no intentions of selling it.
Chunder 0
OMG if RAA imports the .30-06 I may have to get a divorce!!!
