Is a 15 round mag legal for an unconverted Saiga 7.62 x 39

Hey Fellas, quick question, lets say I choose not to convert my Saiga 7.62 x 39 at the moment. I'm saving money for parts. In the sporter configeration can I use a 15 round mag. Is that illegal
