Ohio is trying out a new hunting program. It will allow farmers who have deer damaging their crops to check an on-line list of hunters who have offered to be of service to help cull the damage causing deer. There are only 4 counties in the current program; it is in a pilot stage. If the program proves successful, it will go state-wide.

The current participating counties are:

Carroll

Harrison

Jefferson

Tuscarawas

Check out the HuntOhioFarms.com website for more information.

Neat program. I "Hunt" in the first two counties....

Of course last year I spent more time walking the woods with the 12 inch SBS chasin "so called, Hunters" off of private property..............

Funny thing, I never had to anyone a second time.............

It's fun being the crazy guy in the woods with a SBS.........

Maybe this year I'll figure out how to get the sound track from Deliverence to play in the background................
