vintagedude88 16
I converted an S12 which required a modded G2 trigger group. However I heard that the S223 does need any mods to the Tapco FCG at all and that it just drops in. Is this true?
seanie 6
That is 100% correct, if you don't want the BHO. I chose to go without the BHO and the entire thing dropped right in. A month or so later, I noticed that I missed it. When I put the BHO back in, the only modification needed was some filing of where the BHO plate fits next to the hammer. The only mod to the Tapco trigger group would be if you want the BHO...and if you do not want to do that, Tromix already has the Tapco trigger group modified for the BHO. Carolina Shooters Supply has it Tromix Trigger Group

My BHO works great!
dobravery 49
FCG must be a single hook. I believe a double hook requires a small notch to be cut in the receiver.
arizona98tj 0
FCG must be a single hook. I believe a double hook requires a small notch to be cut in the receiver. Correct....but given everything else done in the conversion, it is quite simple. Looks like this....
