Paulyski 2,227 Posted November 30, 2009 Report Share Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) If you use a double hook, in addition to narrowing the side of the hammer to clear the BHO, you would need to notch out another notch on the underside of the reciever for the added hook of the double hook. It is easily doable, I did it, but not too many people do it. It is extra work. If you were to use the double hook, don't notch too far. Go a tiny bit at a time until the trigger pulls just enough to release the hammer. EDIT: for absolute ease, Tromix mods a single hook G-2 so you can just drop it in without any grinding whatsoever. That seems to be your 3rd link. They sell it with a shepherds crook, so that is what I would grab for sheer ease for my next conversion. Don't forget that you will need a crook.
