So a friend is letting me hold onto his rifle...

I might have to buy this off him, it's alittle to SEXY for him.

I had to mock it up, had to see! OK, I'm weak, but....

That's the Unit stencils I'm using. It's going on the top cover, down through the selector lever and onto the receiver.

Last pic you can see how the ParaCord wrapped to make the sling mount.

When you take a close look at the mount, you'll see that wouldn't be good.

As for the Recoil pad, Sites say "Sold Separately" but I can't find one.

I did some digging around last night, it accepts Ace buttpads. We'll let him try it like this first, and see if he wants more length...

Looks great!

By the way, 10th Mtn. Division, huh? Out of Ft. Drum, right? My best friend was a SSG from the 10th Mtn. SSG Gary Lampman. He and his crew put in miles of roads over there in the sandbox and built the Stryker pads.

Finaly the reunion of owner and gun.

And impromtu range test. The scope is really close, he was hitting 7/10 times on a 4 inch metal spinner at ~50 yards in the standing. That was a pleasant suprise for everyone due to the fact that we took the scope off a few times while working on it, and took it completly off when painting the mount.
