So far, nobody with a spare 308 gas tube that they are willing to part with and sell to me at a reasonable price, has come forward. So my question is will a factory x39, 223, or 5.45 gas tube fit the S308. If somebody has a 308 and one of the others, will you test for fit and let me know. Or you can buy one from Dinzag and get some new wood. mtjccmotel 12 Posted February 19, 2010 Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 I only have the 308 so I can't compare them, but I can remove mine and pull the measurements for you if you'd like. Eventually, I will get Dinzags modified tube as I would like to change out the handguard so that I will be able to carry my cleaning rod in the gun, but as of yet I have not done that.
