choobie 5
Anyone come across one, say through a hardware store? I switched out the Arsenal 2 stage from my sgl31 and it doesn't seem to have one (unless I lost it).
nalioth 405
Only the Tapco FCG uses the sleeves. The commies never did, so your Arsenal FCG is accurate.
choobie 5
That's nice to know, thanks, but it's a hell of a lot easier to use a sleeve in order to put in my BHO without having to simultaneously push down on the disconnector and push in the axis pin. Guess unless I find something similar at HD or Lowes, looks like I should get another G2 kit.
nalioth 405
Just find an old section of drill rod that fits in the hole. Cut this drill rod to ½", and use it to hold the trigger and disconnecter together (this is how the commies do it [there is a specific tool issued in the cleaning kits for this]). If you do buy another FCG, I'll pay postage for your old "useless" set.
finlander 3
Only the Tapco FCG uses the sleeves. The commies never did, so your Arsenal FCG is accurate. Ver. 21 Saiga has a sleeve in the trigger assembly, at least mine does.
sapper1371usmc 107
Every stock saiga that I have converted had a sleeve holding the disconnector to the trigger (or trigger base, whatever you want to call it).
nalioth 405
Both of you guys are correct. The Tapco FCG is designed to replace a military spec trigger group. No military AK has sleeves on it's FCG to my knowledge. Factory Saigas are not military AKs.
