Re-Use Stock Hammer?

Any good reason NOT to just re-use the old hammer on a conversion? (S-12 or 410) This would seem to save a lot of effort grinding down the new one. If the new ones are that much better, or really needed for parts count, then I'll do it!

Not unless you know exactly how to mod it for the G2 trigger group. Stick with the Tapco hammer. Your life will be far less complicated;)

What WS is beating around the bush over is that some folks have experienced runaway guns by doing this.

 

A potential 10 years minimum sentence and a lifetime felony versus 10 minutes with a grinder . . .

Mine worked fine with a Yugo single hook trigger. I did have to grind the trigger back a bit on top .
