raymartrading 0
Howdy Folks! Just picked up my Saiga 7.62 x 39 from gun jail in the great People's Republic of Kali. Being a responsible sort, I want to secure this rifle. What is the best way to lock this rifle? I have my regular pistol locks and I am wondering if this is the best way? Can't wait to try this baby out in the desert soon. Cheers.
Alexc.s. 25
A lock though the mag well is the second best way to go about it. The best way over all is to get a long gun safe. A robber can get a lock off with time. He has much more trouble getting the safe out of the house so he has the time to crack it. If you do get a safe, spend a little extra and get some fire proofing to put your important papers in as well.
Matthew Hopkins 1,065
buy a safe, a lock on the trigger, mag well, is not going to deter a criminal who breaks into your house. my advice get a LARGE safe, as your collection grows you will definetly need the room to house them. GregM1 241
you could also store the bolt carrier in a different location. that is not an easily replaced part. the bolt is almost impossible unless you have another saiga to get one from.

chevyman097 2,579
Move away from Kali! jk lol I would go with a threw the champer/magwell lock as others pointed out. The type that come with most shotguns work good.
