jsf 0
On the www. cross-con saiga conversion thread there is a lay out for the trigger & pistol grip, unless I missed it , are there new holes to be drilled for the trigger & hammer pins, are they moved forward also, nowhere is this discussed or do you use the existing holes which the way I read it the hammer & trigger are moved forward? I'm a so confused

jsf 0
So all we are really doing is moving the trigger guard forward so a pistol grip can be installed. yes / no

danny boy 0
The conversion is insanely easy. You don't have to drill any holes at all, just the rivets that hold the plate on the bottom of the reciever. Once the plate is off, cut the trigger guard off, trim the extra hole that used to bolt to the stock, tuck the cut end under the mag release, put a nut and bolt through the trigger guard in the back and put it together like any other AK. Super simple-don't over think it.

Onepoint 0
It takes longer to remove the bottom plate than anything else, and that can be done quicker than it take to clean the thing once you're done.
