bigdave 0
Hey guys, I'm new here and have some questions. I've been glancing at this forum for a few months now when I started thinking about purchasing a Saiga. I purchased a new .223 a few days ago and am waiting for it to arrive. I have decided to convert it right off the bat and am interested in the wooden butt stocks from the PSL 54 rifles and would like to know if anyone has any information on wear I can purchase one? I tried the search and had no luck and have seen a few guys sporting these on their rifles. Another question I have and can't find the answer to is weather or not I will have to have the end of my barrel milled down any to put the 1/2-28RH threads on the end of the barrel. I know I will find out for my self in a few days but I would appreciate any available information as I am trying to get everything figured out before hand. Thank you for any help, and I hope I have this in the correct forum. Dave Edited September 29, 2010 by bigdave
dobravery 49
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=193845580 The WASR thumb-holes look like PSL's and fit stamped receivers. A genuine PSL buttsock won't fit an AK without some serious modding. Can't help about threading.

bigdave 0
Already picked up a stock set locally for $25, if the PSL really won't work like he said, I'll be selling that one. Edited October 5, 2010 by bigdave
