A tight-fitting side-folder?

Recommended Posts

ACE has some M4 and "SOCOM" style retractable AND side folding stocks that they say require no modification to the receiver. B)

Ugly, but I like the features list.

Has anyone held one of these things? My thinking is that it's worth the $165 if it doesn't wiggle. Wiggly stocks irritate me. I've had some bad experiences with "cool" stocks on other weapons that wound up lock-tited into one and only one position forever. Might as well get some nice dark red wooden furniture instead so at least it'll look right for an AK.

The important part isn't the retractability, although adjustable LOP would be nice. My eventual purchase has to fold and it has to not wiggle on me. If none of these will do it, then who knows what will?

Doesnt wiggle. You can tighten up the folder button in the open or closed position. It's an HDPS all aluminum stock, with a steel and aluminum HDPS folding mechinism....looks a lot like an Ace....

Impressive, but HDPS is out of stock for almost everything on their website - including the hinges and stocks. They'll sell you a 2 1/2 ton military truck though

I think I'll go with an ACE folder.
