smithy5160 0
hey there is a saiga 12 guage 20-22" for sale, 300 bucks NIB, should i buy or not? its at a gun shop across the state. is that too low or too hihg? have they been about that price recently? do you think if i buy it and dont fire, it will increase in value? thanks *i need to justify a purchase so my parents dont think i am going to start a war with all my guns, so if this is truly going to be worth more than i paid, then i may get a nob of approval
shaneman153a 39
I just paid 360.00 for mine, NIB, no BHO, 2001 model, 22" full choke fixed. Yours sounds like a good deal. I'm not endorsing it, just giving a basis for comparison.
smithy5160 0
it was a 2001 as well, 22", i may stop down and take a looky and see i am assuming it will have a 5 rounder
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Jump on it man, you won't be sorry.
smithy5160 0
why though? i mean i really want it, but i am assuming if anything i will break even or make a few bucks if i need to sell it unfired? thanks
shaneman153a 39
Why do you want it if you don't intend to shoot? If you want an investment, buy a barret .50. Then wait until Hillary gets elected. You'll make a mint. (Ouch! Sore subject)
6500rpm 670
Buy it, do a conversion, shoot it, and sell it if you have to and you'll still come out on top. If you have any hand skills at all these things are about as easy as it comes to do a conversion on and loads of fun to shoot........
smithy5160 0
how much is a conversion? i saw one before with the shortened barrel, vertical tac front grip, folding stock, and red dot scope. so 300+tax is a good deal? thanks
topmaul 42
Buy it or tell us where it is so one of us can buy it.
smithy5160 0
so you are suggesting that if you had the opportunity you would purcahse it? *is the 2001 model the first year it was imported? also, does this have the ability to lock the bolt open like my 308 so when i go to the range i dont get bitched out thanks Edited June 18, 2005 by smithy5160

shaneman153a 39
Check this one out: http://dragunov.net/stocksets.htm If this one will plug into an SSG-97, it should go right into and ak or saiga. I wish they would post a pic of the OD Green stock. How much did each cost?

I wish they would post a pic of the OD Green stock. How much did each cost? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The stocks on the Romak 3, SSG97 and the like will not fit an AK variant. The backs of the recievers are curved somehow as far as I know. Also those stocks are very pricey. The ATI and Choate stocks are around $50-60.
