HART1 92
If you have a .308 saiga and an AK 47, would you tell me if the bolt head of the .308 is the same overall length as the ak 47 and will it fit in an AK 47 bolt carrier. I have an idea I'm working on. Don't want to let the cat out of the bag on this idea till I know if a .308 bolthead will work in the AK bolt carrier. Thanks for your help. brokenfeather 2
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it my not work for one reason being that the 308 uses 3 lugs rather than 2 to lock up.
JK-47 33
If i am not mistaken the .308 bolt is longer too. I sold my .308 or I'd check for you.
Rhodes1968 1,638
The 308 bolt is much beefer and different design than the 39R but without knowing what you are thinking about Ive no idea what you need. They are NOT compatible between the two rifles for what its worth.

N4KVE 14
Besides, the Saiga .308 bolt has a skinny stem, & the AK47 bolts have the normal fat stem. GARY N4KVE
