lbsrdi 1,078
Mine actually does not rattle at all. It sounds like you may have just got a bad one. Maybe I am wrong but mine is snug. Good luck.
The_Caged_Bird 474
Both of mine are nice and snug, or are you talking about the little one on the guide rod?
datrowl 111
There is usually a little " nub " to the top of the back side that holds it tight in the houseing, if your nubless, you might try installing your nub yourself ( warning: use protection, more than 1 life has been altered forever by not useing protection for your nub installiation ) Grab a small center punch near the base, line it up on the dust cover... and useing steady hands, thrust it home... you may need to use a mallet and give it a quick tap or two if its being stubborn and won't give in to your nub attempts. Now if the problem is the closed end, the hole the push peg slips into might be too big. If your hole is too big, it may require a bit of a shim to tighten things back up.. maby cut a small tab of metal and JBweld/screw/glue/mig/tig/spit/bailingwire/ducttape/chewinggum it in place... that should get ya fixed up, now go have a smoke and raid the fridge!
