cbrgator 0
On the Saiga 12: If I replace the buttstock with the Tapco buttstock/pistol grip combo piece and also use an American made magazine, does that bring me into 922r compliance or am I 1 part short?
Yoshi 87
Yup, 1 for the stock and U.S. mag is good for 3.
poolingmyignorance 2,191
The s12 counts as14 parts including 3 for the mags alone. Just changing one part one the gun and using US mags only will make you compliant.
cbrgator 0
Thanks. If I wanted to replace 1 more part, besides the stock/grip combo and using USA mags, what is the next cheapest part I could replace?
poolingmyignorance 2,191
Gas puck. Tapco's sells for $10-ish. Thanks. If I wanted to replace 1 more part, besides the stock/grip combo and using USA mags, what is the next cheapest part I could replace?

fauxknight 30
just did mine and its stupid easy. think it only took me 20-25 min Took me a couple hourse, but without a vice I had to resort to the dremmel a lot. I also didn't have a good technique for installing the BHO spring or shepherds crook, so those to items took me way to long to install. Knowing how to handle these two items better I was able to recently install my FCG again in only a couple of minutes.
