Eric D 0
I've got one on my SGL 21, and it's the probably the best mod I could do to it. I didn't like the Tango Down PG on an AR, but this (made by the same manufacturer) US Palm grip is really nice.
TwentyNizzo 66
I had one, it's okay if you like curved backstraps. It's also a bit on the thin side from side to side for my liking. The Izhmash PG is vastly superior.

There is a guy named Ronin producing domestic copies of foreign grips including a close Izzy match (no finger grooves). FWIW I also like the Bulgarian SAW grips a lot too, but I have small hands. TwentyNizzo 66
I have a Ronin Izzy replica....it's a good grip, but it's a copy of the old version of the grip which is significantly smaller. The new Izzy PG is really large, but feels great in the hand.

I am familiar with Ronin's grips... didn't know his Izzy grip was a copy of the old version, or that there even was a new version. He sells one grip called "Big Mongo". I am familiar with Ronin's grips... didn't know his Izzy grip was a copy of the old version, or that there even was a new version. He sells one grip called "Big Mongo". It's a copy of a current pistol grip made by a different Russian arms factory. The MD grip is a US-made clone, (of as high or higher quality), of a Molot pistol grip. For those who don't like the finger grooves; they can be dremelled/sanded off without compromising the strength of the grip. Did I mention that they're very well-made, (and only $12)? I've gone through a few different grips on my S-12, (the "standard" AK popsicle stick grips are a joke imo), trying to find a balance of comfort and durability, (ideally also US-made), and when the MD grip came out, I bought a few for $5 each. They're one of only a couple US-made poly grips that use a full-length standard AK pg screw, (big advantage imo), and although they're great for use on any Kalashnikov, I consider them perfect for the S-12. All that said, I personally prefer the ATI grip for 7.62x39 and .308. It has more aggressive finger grooves and fits my hand pretty perfectly. It also uses a standard AK pg screw. ymmv.
