lvjeffro 30
hey all, I have a set of krebs sights and I have the small peep sight installed and want to remove it, but not sure how to do that. Do I just use a punch and knock it out, or does it screw in, or??? Anyone know??? Going to go shoot my S-12 for the first time tomorrow. It has been 2 years since I purchased it, and am finally going to get to shoot this bizatch, and dont want the tiny holed peep installed... thanks in advance for any help i can get... Jpanzer 1,265
Just poked mine out with a screwdriver. Don't worry about being gentle with it, you'll never use it after it's out anyway!

Peckaldee 12
My Krebs rear sight has a very small set screw in the top of the ring. Maybe a 1/16th Allen wrench to remove I think. Then tap out small peep.
Jpanzer 1,265
Interesting... no set screw on mine. Really, it took all of 20 seconds to push it out intact with a screwdriver. If you have one with a set screw remove the screw and then push it out...
lvjeffro 30
thanks all, my sights do not have a set screw, so I will get a BFH and take care of it... ETA: Wow, that was just stupid easy, feel dumb asking about it now, but would have hated to bang on that sucker ruin the sight and find out that it screwed in...thanks again.
