jbanzai 113
I've searched high and low for a spare fp for my Saiga to no avail. What gives? I thought I was gonna have problems tracking one down for my MAK 90 considering they haven't been imported for 17 years, but I found one fairly easy. Regardless of how rarely they break, once it does, you're screwed. I thinks having at least a spare fp and extractor for SHTF just makes sense. Buying a whole new rifle for spare parts would be costly, and then if you ever needed to use the parts from one, the other is then unuseable
TacticalGenius 4
Good point, I am curious about this as well. Hopefully someone is in the know. TG
ChileRelleno 7,071
Better & perhaps easier, to find a complete bolt assembly. I know the 762 & 545 are available from K-Var and perhaps a few other places. But haven't seen the 223 as of late.
jbanzai 113
Have you ever seen a 223 bolt assembly by itself? Aren't the ones Kvar has merely compatible, but not necessarily Saiga specific? I'm still new to the Saiga scene, but next to shooting, finding a few spares is on my to do list. It seems like it would be easy enough for an importer to request these parts, and surely Saiga, or whoever the company is, would surely oblige.
grimm100 13
Is this what you need, 3rd down? http://www.k-var.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=3&sort=&sort_direction=0&page=
