Zilla 0
Anybody know if you can buy a 20" barrel for the saiga? When I bought my Saiga I couldn't find a 20" ended up with a 16". Dont get me wrong it shoots great, but just hoping one day to change it over to a 20".
haugpatr 972
I think the 20" are more rare but they are out there. I would ask Wolf Performance Arms if they are going to bring some more in.
Bigtwin 219
Yes a hard find for the 20" barrel, though that extra 4" seems to not make much differance in performance from what I have read!(insert sexual joke here). I cannot prove that but the caliber was designed as far as I can tell with the 16" barrel. The gain ot of a 20" may be minimal!

The 20 is far more accurate then the 16. All of my 7,62's with the exception of a Draco have 16 inch barrels. I'm currently on a wait list for a 20 inch 7.62. My Russian SKS is far more accurate them my AK 7.62's.
Frankyoz 15
Agreed my 20in is a much better shooter than my 16in and my friends 16in Romanian as well.
Red Star 38
I have a 20 inch, and it shoots beautifully. Havent had the chance to compare between the 20 and the 16 though...
ViperHummel 3
I never shot out far enough to compare. That's why I just decided to sell it, keep my 16 and aim for a 5.45 next
Bigtwin 219
Oh, don't misunderstand me. I am not refering to personal experience, I am refering to what I have read. And being this is the 7.62x39 sub forum, I am refering to 7.62x39 not .223 or 5.45.
