i was looking at rusmilitary and seen that single pull AK, kind of lame, but the little hamster started to run on its wheel, since i can't use a semi in my state for hunting, i was wondering if there is a part or something that can be done to make it a single action for hunting and remove when not following draconian rules. you can own anything you want in this state, but you can't use a semi auto of any kind for hunting. thanks in advance.

You could have a tall gas plug made that threads in against the gas puck. That'd block the gas ports and make it a single shot.

Remove the plug and puck. It will most certainly not be capable of semi auto fire.

Could you just not use a magazine? It would only be capable of holding one round.

thanks for the advise, well looks like i was misinformed by a warden, i called the game commision in my county, which is a special regulated one, you can use a semi shotgun, still waiting for my 030 to show up.

For conversations sake, if you just remove the puck but left the plug, I'd be a little leery about all that gas getting redirected towards your face, granted you have a dust cover there, but it might be much. There wouldn't be much between your face and gas/crud finding it's way out of the take square hole in the end of the dust cover. Removing the plug and puck might not look too hot, but should work and be safeR.
