saiga12-er 5
I picked up my new Saiga 12 today (no time to shoot it yet) and clearly see the owners manual is not the best translation and am a bit unclear as to where on the receiver shows any form of manufacture date. If I am correct the first two digits of a specific number is the year of manufacture. If that is correct, is a year all it can be narrowed down to? On the left side (left as viewed from behind) the receiver has some symbols a couple of which are regarding the conformity and another the testing station (plus others) and there is a 8 digit string of numbers. Is it the first two digits of that number string represent the year of Mfg.? And can it be narrowed down to the month and even the day? Thanks,

Roadhawg 10
If you bought it new there is a manufacture date located on the sticker on the box and page 6 of the Shotgun Certifcate.
The_Caged_Bird 474
First two numbers say the year, second four numbers say which bottle of vodka the assembler was on when the weapon was built in that year. If we assume four bottles of vodka a day...
