CSS triggerguard

The Hogue's grip screw hole is farther back than normal AK grips. Elongate the grip screw hole on the grip slightly towards the front to line up with any of the AK trigger guards..

That's great to know since I just ordered that exact setup yesterday! Thanks for the heads up.

Might be a good idea to add that to page with the write up for the Hogue grip. I bought a standard guard and nut when I bought mine from you so I had no issues, but I prefer your CSS trigger because it's so nice looking. I used it on the .410 my son I converted and he loves it.

It is on there and also on the instruction sheet.

You just proved my point in another thread about how people don't read or do their own research on things before asking questions. Now in my case it's in making suggestions. shame.gif Sorry!

It's all good. Lots or info to read so it gets missed often.

In the process of converting now, and yep-------had to elongate the hole towards the front of the Hogue grip too. No problem there. BUT.......also having to grind an 1/8 inch or so off the top of the grip where it meets the receiver so the CSS trigger guard seats fully into the grip. Be forewarned. It's a pain....but I do love that grip and TG.
