RobRez 1,895
So, While ammo hunting for x54r ammo, out of town, I came across some Brown Bear 7.62x39 123grain Hollow points. Not the common 122 gr or the elusive 124gr. Never saw this particular one before. They want $160 for 500 rounds of it. Anyone know if it is any good? I am in this town til tomorrow afternoon and am considering the purchase.
IndyArms 10,186
I am sure its fine. 1 gain will barely make any difference in ballistics...
Salmonking 149
Two reviews that I've seen: Not much expansion, but a fair amount of tumble. Wolf MC HP is the best hollow-point factory round out there supposedly- price considered. Brown bear accuracy is pretty nice in my x39. Water juggs 1. Brown bear hp 2. Military Classic hp 3. Double tap Vmax 4. Corbon 150 gr sp
haugpatr 972
Just picked this up tonight, ran a dental pic inside the HP and felt the ridges! It was completely local! I think I scored some 8m3!
RobRez 1,895
I may get it then. We shall see what the ammo Gods say in the morning.
