Additional .308

I'm toying with the idea of getting another rifle in .308. I currently have a 16 inch saiga 308. Its got a cheap 4x scope and bipod on it. I'd like to get something different. I'm not feeling any bolt action rifle. I was toying with a ptr-915 pistol, or maybe a vector v51.

 

How reliable are those things? Is it easy to mod them? Any other decent options out there? My price range is 1500 +/- 100ish.

Might be a little more than you want to spend but you can't go wrong with a H&K 91

I'm currently waiting on a form 1 for my vector v-51. Going sbr with it.

M-1 is kind of pricey, but a possibility.

 

How reliable is the v-51?

 

I kind of like the idea of a .308 pistol, like a draco, just bigger fireballs.

I have had zero problems out of mine shooting in pistol form. I'm just using cheap surplus MG ammo.

I've been thinking about a .308 as well, but been thinking more about a .308 ar. Next time I find myself with an extra 2500 I will be thinking about the LaRue Predatar.

I ended up blowing the tax return on a x39 saiga. My new 308 will have to wait a little while longer.

 

I will have to look at a vepr. I like the idea of sticking with ak style rifles.
