BOB A. BOOEY 45
In reading the intructions for the MD ARMS 20 round drum it speaks to the spring adjustment. Anyone know what they come set at? It looks complicated to re-set this thing. Im apprehensive about taking it apart.
Bridis 319
It comes FACTORY set to function in most S-12s.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
3 turns is factory. I have a few of them and run them at factory tension. I tried the first 5 MD-20s that I bought at 2 1/2 turns, for use with bulk birdshot (low brass). The drum could not keep up with the action and it caused feeding issues. The weapon can be made to be reliable with bulk ammo and an MD-20 at full tension. Never give up....
FlameRed 4
Mine was similiar to the above poster. 3 turns is factory. I found that once I had my S12 set for low brass, I could run the drum with 2 turns which is nice because it makes it much easier to load. However, I later had the GunFixr LRBHO installed and the slight drag on the bolt made it so that I had to run the MD20 at the factory 3 turn setting again or I would get misfeeds.
