TheMantis 11
I'm looking at picking up a Saiga .308 with the longer barrel. (Not the ver 21 though) I am in Southern California. What is a reasonable price? So far I found a local dealer with one for $699. Most places I call do not have the .308, or if they do they only have the 16" version. Thanks in advance. TheMantis 11
So from looking at those by the time I factor in shipping and transfer fees it wont be that much cheaper to get it from out of state. Am I right?
shades_of_grey 1,092
Atlantic Firearms is usually a good, quick way to gauge market price: http://www.atlanticf...roduct1163.aspx So unless you found a used one at a significantly lower price on gunjoker that you were willing to take a chance on, (not likely), I'd recommend buying that local NIB one for $699. derrma 0
Not that it will help you much but if you would like a price comparison I just picked a NIB up at a local gun show (Indiana) for $

HB of CJ 1,263
This is important. Get your Saiga with a longer barrel than you think you will need...then cut it off and thread it at the length YOU WANT. My 16" bbl is tooos short and noisy ...if I had to do it over again I would have gone long, then cut back to about 18". FWIW IMHO HB of CJ (old deaf coot)
