BlackBird97 1
Just looking around for stock options where I could use the factory trunnion, did a search, didn't yeild any information. I was just curious if anybody here was running or has ran a Polish Beryl folder on their S12 and what their experience was with it. It looks like it would be a pretty neat and authentic folder. BlackBird97 1
I'm really surpised nobody has used one of these stocks before.
Atomic Punk 25
I put one on my IZ-109. It bolts right on. It has a nice natural point of aim with the factory iron sights. They can be pretty pricey for one in good shape and unfortunately, it won't fold all the way with the Krebs safety. Edited June 16, 2012 by Atomic Punk
Floyd9 30
Hmmm, yea I like that. I put an east german folder on mine, didn't care for it on the shotgun. Its great on the .223 and 7.62x39 though.
talaananthes 3
I have a Beryl folder on my '74 rifle. Love it.
Mr. Scratch 91
I had one on for awhile before I switched to a fixed stock. Worked fine. What I especially like about it is that it will completely fold without having to remove the tang or use an ugly block extender on the back. I don't know why we don't manufacture a hinge mechanism like this in the US.
talaananthes 3
Yeah, I went to a fixed stock on my Saiga 12 as well. I just don't think the Beryl is on optimal solution for a shotgun, although I LOVE it on my rifle. Super high quality build and solid lockup. Bonesteel or OST with a Magpul stock would be better on a shotgun IMO.
