YARP 300
I saw a gimmicky ad on TV and shook my head, then I saw them in my local sporting goods store so I scooped up a pack out of interest after seeing how well built they are. If you like grilling and doing kabobs these things are pretty sweet, they will end up in my bag for off the trail meat cooking I'm sure of it. Other then using them to grill (what your supposed to do) there are other uses although I've only explored a few. -makes a nifty snare -holds fish -gets cool points with the wife for not having slivers of wood in her kabob.......... the list goes on! http://www.firewiregrilling.com/ I'm in no way affiliated with this nifty product

chevyman097 2,579
Cool product! Check this thing out. I love mine! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PntXHPslG5Q If you puncture the steak you loose juices! and juices make it wonderful! tongs, only tongs. Never puncture the steak! sear it then eat it! As for the fire wire. Looks like an interesting idea, but it seems you could "do it yourself" cheaper. Im not big on skewers though now that I think of it. Only done them once or twice I guess.
