Almost every press report, op ed piece and letter to the editor is anti gun. A ban seems to be coming at us with a rocket under its ass.

That's a good read... well written and straight to the heart of the matter. I still can't understand for the life of me why we're at where we are and how most people just don't get it. I think the most interesting point made in the article is that of the second amendment as a 'deterrent' to tyranny... as in to deter the federal government from grabbing too much power simply because they could never get away with it. The problem, now, is that they've already got away with so much... There has never been a line in the sand, drawn by us, to say 'If you cross that, we'll be done with you.' Now instead of crossing the only line that's truly ever existed, abolishing the 2A, they're saying 'meet us halfway'... as if there is bargaining to be done with our rights. It's disgusting, and vile... and its happening.

The only problem is, since they already got an AWB before, now it is just like playing the SJC card and saying "well we did it before, so we can do it again now". People need to be up in arms over it, and not just AWs but the fact DiFis legislation will do away with other non-threatening guns like Marlin 60's with greater than 10 round tubes or Henry lever rifles. Just sick EDIT: and now it wont let me not be posting this as a quote from Risky..........

We have a first amendment to deal with shit like this. Corporations run this country and the people circulate dollars for the fed. Without our money being spent, they would cease to exist. People are really freaking out about future gun bans. Well, maintain your composure and write to your representatives. Write to sponsors of televisions networks stating you will not support their products because the station supports attacks against our inherent rights. It's an inherent right you inherited from G-d. It's not some revokable license that politicians can strip away from you.

 

Violence is the last desperate act of a limited mind. We are very far from having to exercise the second amendment to it's fullest power.

 

Talk to your friends, purchase ammo and firearms. Cancel your cable and stop buying crap from people who advertise with the liberal media.

 

Hit them in the pocket book. Commies love money.
