Tec5521 3
Just picked up my new .410, not much in the way of instructions. This is probaly a stupid question...but is the safety lever only able to be disengaged if loaded? Thanks!
Kurokaze 10
Nope... it can be operated in almost any state.
Tec5521 3
Having trouble getting it to go into down position...and wanted to ask before I pushed even harder, or if there was anything that I needed to do before lowering it
Kurokaze 10
Make sure that it's not too high... if you bring it too high it will cause a bump on the inside of the lever to go above the receiver edge causing it to catch. If it is... just pull on the lever slightly away from the receiver and push it down.
Tec5521 3
Well...I've tried everything to get the safety lever down....not moving. I've pulled it out and then pushed down...looks like it's been down before, but it's not budging now. I'm attaching photos and hopefully someone may see exactly the problem. Thanks for any help! Kurokaze 10
Yep... it's above the receiver. The indent at the bottom near the handle is catching. Pull it out to clear this. If it still is locked up, Field strip the cover, recoil spring, and bolt out and take pics.
Tec5521 3
Still trying to get it to work...no luck. Opened it up and here's pics. I've even pulled the lever away from the body to make sure it wasn't hitting there. Help
Kurokaze 10
I can't tell... is it binding on the trigger lever when you push it down?
Tec5521 3
FINALLY!!!! ....I just kept playing with it and moving the bolt around and it suddenly came loose! Now maybe I can enjoy this thing.

DuelingDragon 0
Glad to hear its fixed, looks like you had the bolt locked back and the safety stuck above the bolt rather than behind it.
Tec5521 3
Yea me too! I pulled it straight out of the box and went to push the safety down...no go. But all is well now if I can just find the best shells. Going broke buying a little bit of everything.
PFerris 76
You do not need to anything with it but shoot it for awhile. Then you will figure out what you do and don't like about it.

Then you will figure out what you do and don't like about it. Guess that's where part of my problem lies....just severed a rotator cuff, surgery set for Tues. Damn!! Been trying to get together a few different shells so I can get my uncle over to try it out for me until I can. The temptation to try it anyway is about to kill me, but I know how that will end up. All I can do right now is learn from you guys all I can!
PFerris 76
Good luck with the surgery, that 410 will be around when you are well again.
