emf 2
Guy at the shop said to just use a .30 cal brush for cleaning. So can I assume that the snake for my 30-06 will work too?
dubya 198
Yessir. 7.62x51 is basically a 308 Winchester and 7.62x54 is basically 30-06 Springfield. All three 7.62's are 30 cals. Edited March 20, 2013 by dubya
Bigtwin 219
Just remember that the 7.62 in our Saigas are more like .310 diameter and the 7.62 in .308 is .308, so it may not feel as tight. I do use .308/7.62 brushes in my Saiga with out issue though.
