Tragedy Victims Want Gov Office to Handle Donations

Recommended Posts

It looks like tragedy victims now want the government to create a tax dollar funded office to handle transferring 100% of any donations to victims and for the donations to be tax deductible.

While I have no issue with those needing financial assistance after a tragedy receiving whatever is available to them I do not think I need to fund it. Isn't that what insurance is for? How is it I become obligated for a fair-share burden for the compensation by being a law abiding, uninvolved citizen?

More entitlements.......

They will get their entitlements through governmental mandates that we all will fund, regardless of self-responsibility or insurance.

Ripe for government fraud.

I mean for them to reallocate as they feel needed.
