I have a couple rifles I'm itching to shoot.

With ammo in shit situation as it is which is better to hold onto for storage?

I have equal amount of lacquer coated and I believe poly coated.

I know temperature and humidity are big factors for storage.

Just would like to know if one or the other is better or does it even make a difference?

Tried search nothing came up. If someone could direct me link that would be fine also.

Thanks

You can always store it in military surplus "air tight" ammo cans. I keep all my ammo sealed up nice and tight.

Also

I collect "SilicaGel packets from electronics and whatnot and toss a few in the can when sealing is up.

Keeping your ammo dry and within a normal temp will make it keep virtually forever.
