montec 164
So something I was thinking about since things are slim out there. Has anyone used BB'a for reloading? Seen there was BB, 1, 2, and 3 shot @ my local place and they were $23/10lbs. However it seems that the bb's for bb guns are much cheaper and about the same weight. BB's are $13 for some quantity but didn't say weight. Thinking maybe loading up some target shells.
gunfun 3,931
Steel shot is usually more expensive and ballistically inferior to lead. The only reason it is used is to comply with waterfowl regulations. Most of the time larger wads are used for it too. Because it is much bulkier per weight than lead, you are going to have different load data.
montec 164
I figured I would need to find a steel reloading recipie to try. We haver limited selection in my area for reloading unless I want to drive over an hour to cabela's. Or pay with an arm and a leg @ gandermoutain.
