Hi Everybody I stumbled upon this by total accident. I am Half-Spanish and I was doing research about CETME and heard that they were renamed Santa Barbara SA and in turn later on acquired by General Dynamics.

 

Any of you Brethren work with one of these?

Interesting ... but looks like it still was canceled in favor of M2A1. Still pretty heavy, I would hate to lug that thing around + ammo.

 

Says it has slower firing rate than M2, but a least supposedly the head-spacing is fixed. M2s were notorious to run like shit if not cycled/timed and head-spaced right. Many videos in Afghanistan with guys having to tug the charging handle every couple of rounds.

 

Any info why it was canceled?
