garnaz 215
Was starting a load to wash and all of a sudden hear grinding. Stripped gears. Drain tub and unhook roll over pull out transmission and start to try and diagnose without tearing apart. Long story short I over disassembled and need to know if someone knows type of oil put in these. Apparently not parts serviceable , just unit. I found a broken coupler that is about $20 shipped but no information on oil type. Was thinking 30w motor oil and cross my fingers. If not transmission will be $200 plus shipping. Any thoughts experience?
thebuns1 4,323
Not sure on what they use, nor how heavy the oil should be. Have you tried running a google search for the model. Hell try calling the manufacturer to see if they can help.
