Cobra 76 two 2,677
I thought it might be worth asking just in case, has anyone else gotten a Vepr 12 that has mismatched serial numbers stamped on the bolt and carrier? I just got a set in for service that has two different numbers and my customer says he bought the gun new. It has (last three digits) 183 on the carrier and 332 on the bolt. Anyone here by chance happen to have either of these numbers as their last three of the serial? I'll find out which one matches his receiver today but wanted to at least post the question here and on Vepr.org to see. Anyone else get one with mismatched numbers at all? SGM 217
most parts have a control number on one side a matching serial number (last 3 or 4 numbers) on the opposite side. The rifles on the bolt have a inventory/control number on the left and the serial number on the right side. Look on the other side.
