If something happened to a family member or to myself I smell a major lawsuit citing high probability based on individual records and documented rates of recidivism within the State. A jury is likely to agree and award $$$$ if the crime is bad enough. I'm from the private sector where such liabilities are mitigated by compliance or the lawyers get involved before costs skyrocket. In the public sector no one is held accountable. Silly me!
