I fly a POW/MIA flag both at home AND at work, and fly them proudly, not just as an abstract symbol, but with meaning.

Those who know me have a pretty good idea why.

I will ALWAYS fly one. Anyone who doesn't like it can kiss my Patriotic ass!

Good men gave up so much so that we may be Free.
Dead, alive, or missing, they ALL deserve our remembrance, and most of all, our RESPECT.

You don't have to love us, or even like us...but we EARNED your respect.

NEVER FORGET.

Freedom has a Price. Blood, Pain, and Loss. Some of us willingly put ourselves in harm's way for Freedom. I'd do it again.

These morons who cry "Racist!" choose to enjoy the fruits of our sacrifices and bitch about how "bad" we are, or call us "crazy, government programmed killers", or spit on us when we come home. Little do they know how far wrong they are.

Some of these proud heroes are GONE, never to return. I have friends that came home, but can not let go of the horrors they experienced. In a way, they're still there sometimes. Good men, forever changed. Loved ones may live out their lives, never knowing. Some say that there are still American soldiers being held prisoner incognito in various places. We may never know. I hope and pray if that is true, that their captors experience the ultimate in pain and eternal suffering for daring to take an American.

We fought for EVERYONE in America, (even these whining buttheads) so they could remain Free. They need to learn some respect. However, I cannot forgive the slights piled on our proud warriors. God tells us to forgive. I realize I am not perfect.

Showing disrespect for our military members I can not and will not forgive.

The pissing all over Vietnam vets and downplaying of American POWs is pretty old hat, I think this twat just saw "flag" a lot in the news and figured someone would listen to him.

This may not be relevant, but I wish my brother Al a Happy Birthday today. He would have been 68. He served in South Viet Nam from '69-70. He died at the age of 36 in 1984 from a coronary occlusion which makes him 5 years older than I. My other brother who served in South Korea at the same time passed in 1997. He would have been 65 this year. Dad passed in 2006, having served in Europe during WWII and would have been 91 this year. We are losing our older vets daily and morbidly I check the obits to acknowledge their passing. I will always remember our veterans of any conflict. Thank you for what you have given me, I cherish it with my life.
