  1. Hey all it's been awhile since I've logged on but I would like to share my latest make over on my S12. What has changed... Got rid of the 6pos stock for a side folder, got ride of the ergo pg for a saw pg, got rid of the galil HG w/ rail for plain simple galil HG. I had an issue at the range this past weekend, the hammer spring got caught behind the disconnector not allowing the trigger to fully reset. I think its b/c the BHO plate gives it less room on the right side, is there a fix for this? Would like to note before the issue with the hammer spring my S12 ran l
  2. nvm...I just went ahead and grind the hole down a bit to make it fit.
  3. I just got my galil handguard w/ bracket in today and notice that the bracket is too tall by about 2-3mm, does not fit to where I can screw the bolt into place. I've owned a tromix modified galil handguard before that fit with ease. Before I made this post I've tried many ways of applying downward pressure to the hanguard to make it as snug as possible but its still 2-3mm too tall. Any advise?
  4. Do you need help doing conversion? I'm from Houston. I just recently sold my conversion parts (decided to go another route) and now I'm playing the waiting game like others are.
  5. I got it to work! Had to dremel the inside of the PG a bit to fit
  6. I finished my conversion yesterday when I realized that the angle of the PG nut on my TG is off . I've tried 2 different PGs and they both dont sit flush. I'm assuming this was the most recent batch of TGs because mississippiautoarms.com just sent me this one in mid December. Please let me know what I should do.
  7. I finished my conversion yesterday and I have to say that the BHO doesnt give enough clearance for the hammer spring? the one that wraps around the hammer and goes back to rest on the trigger. The spring arm that runs along the BHO plate back to the trigger is really fidgety, I had to bend that arm to make sure the spring wouldnt get caught under the disconnector. A few racks and dry fires still makes me weary about the position of that arm. The Tapco G2 FCG is very problematic indeed.
  8. I'm in the process of installing the new FCG but don't really know what to do with the shepherd's crook. Can someone please tell me how to hook this up?
  9. you might want to consider CAA ak47 alum tube, its basically a 6 position buffer tube that bolts directly to the receiver and tang. It'll accept any commercial buttstock FYI you'll need to have the saiga converted with FCG moved up to its rightful place ; ) With something lke that ultimak you'll need to buy a complete AR buttstock w/ buffer tube only to find out that the buffer spring etc is useless in an AK variant firearm. I own the CAA 6 pos stock and I'm very pleased by the quality and durability of this thing!
  10. Did anyone else get theirs yet? I dont have the install instructions so I don't know how to install it. I tried to do it by pushing it just down and scratched the gas tube, I'm a dumbass.
  11. Got the heatshield in, thanks revluvr! So how do I install it? Looks like I can just push it down and it will snap into place but will that scratch the finish?
  12. I don't think they care either, their top exports are what vodka and firearms? I bet over there the 2 intertwine.
