  1. Did I not see a bullet guide on your list? If not you can make one from One inch pipe, or buy it at Kvar
  2. Thanks again. You must have put a few guides in yourself.
  3. Thanks 2nd Gunman. But what should I drill the pre-tap hole with?
  4. Hello fellas, I need some help. I bought a romanian bullet guide, shaped it and was in the process of installing it. The problems are: I dont have access to a 6-40 tap, or a 33 drill bit, or 6-40 machine screw. What else may I use to drill , tap and screw the guide? Thanks for all your help (Past, present and future.) Hugegator where are you!
  5. I have an Olympic Arms lower (PCR ) reciever. I put an AR together with it and only had problems with extraction, ejection with the Wolf ammo. When I changed to American made, problems gone. I've only shot about 150-200 rnds through it, so it probably needs more " Break in" time. Good luck and enjoy the rifle.
  6. Well your chamber and barrel are chrome lined. Dont worry. I've had some bad rust (from surplus rifles) and an old timer told me to use equal amounts of Peroxide, vinegar and baking soda. Dip a patch in that, run it through .let it soak, then clean it out. Also let it soak in the chamber. It works for the hard stuff.
  7. I'm thinking of taking my FSB off myself. I love the Galil type handguards from Kvar. I dont have a press so I will probably have to get it done by someone else as well. Let me know what you find out.
  8. yeah, i know i'm prolly nutz for buying a saiga and turning it into a hunter.. ... Your not nuts brother, do what thy will and have fun.
  9. I'm sad. I used to own two finnish M-39s Sold them both. The one was a sniper rifle (I refinised the stock and dam it looked beutiful.) They both shot dead on. Alas, one cannot keep all the guns and rifles in a life time. Although some may, I usually have to sell one to buy another. Theres always some weapon that comes along and calls my name : (
  10. Well Uh if you install a bullet guide, then your probably going to use 30 round mags. I'm not sure but you may have to instal U.S. parts in order to use high cap. Check with others who know more on the subject. And Welcome aboard.
  11. Thanks for the advise guys. I ended up getting the FP6 semi auto. I'm going to order a Choate extension (to hold a total of 8 shells), then place a tactical light and pistol grip on it. That should set it up for an " End of the world scenario" lol
  12. Well I got down to the gunshop and instead of getting the HK pump, I bought the Semi auto tactical! The shop owner let me try his before I bought mine. Dam its one nice shotgun (cant believe how fast it dumps rounds.) I got it for $550.00 I'm going to get a mag extension and a tactical light (the forearm has a equipment rail)
  13. Lets see, a $12.00 chi com mag, one file and volla! a thirty round mag (steel construction mind you.) Bleeding wounds of Christ what are these people thinking.
  14. Do you have a feed ramp? And are your mag chi com, bugarian, or what? Lastly, are you accually fireing the weapon with fully loaded mags or are you just cycleing it?
  15. Hello guys. I saw an HK Fabarm shotgun at the gun show yesterday. 8 shot, pistol grip accesory rail (on the forend), etc. The dealer wanted $499.00 for it. Should I get it. I dont know much about FABARMS but this shotgun felf great, cycled great and so on. My Remington got stuck while I was putting shells into the tube. Had to use a screwdriver and visegrips (during a black out at night last week) The point is HK felt like a Mercedes compared to the Remington HElp should I get it. BTW, HK is dropping the FABARM line.
