AK74 24mm brake for a 7.62...where to get???
RoughRider666 replied to BaylorHenry's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Ive been told by numerous people that you can use a 74 brake for ANY caliber including the 7.62x39... -
Hey all, After a lot of thought lately ive been thinking about putting a red dot on my Saiga and I kinda wanted to go with an authentic Russian dot scope like the Kobra. Here's the kicker though...it HAS to be a REAL one, but some cheap knockoff made in Taiwan or anywhere else for that matter! Lately ive been seeing the prices in the $350-$400 range, but then i found this, and I want to know if this is legit or not. please give me some input... http://www.binocularsmart.com/scopes/kobra-cobra-red-dot-rifle-scope-sight-ak-akm-svd-sks-tigr-saiga.shtml thanX- -RR

UP Grade to my old reliable Saiga 12
RoughRider666 replied to topmaul's topic in The Competitor's Corner / TEAM SAIGA
I had Alliance Armament perform the 100% reliability service and a few other small extras on my S-12 and I couldnt be happier with it! Now it'll take any brand of 2 3/4" & 3" mag on the planet with no problems at all... -
that is the UGLIEST grip on the market! why would you want that one of all grips?

Bulgarian Gas Blocks?
RoughRider666 replied to RoughRider666's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I tried contacting MARKW1 and he hasnt replied yet... -
Now that I've learned that, I just have one question, how do I get one??? Move to Europe. If you live in the US, don't expect to be able to buy one of these models, (or a Vepr-12), anytime soon. The unconstitutional, asinine BATFE importation rules will only become more draconian and numerous under this regime. True, but there are self-regulating gas system guns on the market right now in America. There's got to be some kind of modification that can be done to the S12 that will make it self-regulating yet legal. There is a guy working on a self-regulating one now

Hey thanks a million man, good to know! +1 -
I need 2 Bulgarian Gas Blocks for my X39 & 545 Saiga's but K-VAR is ALWAYS out of stock. Anyone know where i can get these for a reasonable price? The factory GB on my 545 is vented so will i have to drill the new GB out for venting or can i just go with a vented Gas Tube instead? thanX in Advance, -RR

I would love to have a copy of that with the site frame on it and the picatinny rail on the bottom. yeah! and if im not mistaken, its even a completely different receiver all together than the ones that are sent over here...notice the sidefolding stock too... Not judging, but...are we sure that's an S-12...wasn't aware that the Russians used Magwells like that...pretty sweet looking weapon th

Anyone have any pix of an actual Russian Military Saiga 12? I want to see they look like as far as what hand guards/stocks and other features they come equipped with... I was thinking about making my new S-12 into the military configuration.
