  1. i used dinzag's bolt on (horribly overpriced) lower HG retainer.
  2. After a lot of hesitation I went ahead and converted my Saiga .223. Thanks a lot to all the forum members here who helped and especially DamagedWorld and Bounce12. It was much easier than I thought it would be - I literally have no knowledge or skill with tools and converted this thing in under 3 hours. I call her "pinko" TAPCO Warsaw Length Stock TAPCO AK Pistol Grip TAPCO G2 FCG Choate AK handguards AKM Gas Tube Receiver underside re-finished with duplicolor 500 engine enamel Surplus AK Sling Ribbed Dustcover coming soon Simple, reliable, inexpensive. The way it was
  3. A "Thumbhole Stock" is an evil feature in Cali, same as a pistol grip. Anyways, I'd rather have an unconverted rifle with a detachable mag anyday.

  5. You've got 20 lbs of accessories on your gun that probably make it handle like a bag of bricks (ironically, a gun that was designed to be as simple as possible) and you're worried about this little tiny piece affecting the gun's cycling?
  6. you need a regular AK gas tube to put the top one on you need a handguard retainer for the lower one, you can either buy a bolt on or a press on
  7. had the same problem with my .223 it shoots the round, pops it out, loads the new one just fine, but for whatever reason the little hook next to the trigger does not let the hammer go into the cocked position, it just holds the hammer all the way down. you have to pull the charging handle and dump a perfectly good round to reset the trigger. you can diagnose if your rifle has this problem by emptying it, drop the magazine. now, pull the charging handle, dry fire the gun but hold the trigger down, do not let go. with the trigger down pull the bolt back, and release. if your rifle has t
  8. are you retarded? can you not read?
  9. I'm putting together a little display for my desk, To make it I'd like to have a cartridge of just about every common caliber. I still need one each of the following cartridges for the little collection. 1 each of: 44 magnum .50 AE 5.45x39 7.62x39 7.62x51 30-30 30-06 6.8 SPC .50 BMG .410 20 gauge 12 gauge Anyone able to scrounge up one round of a bunch of these? I'm willing to pay for them.

  11. Selling Choate synthetic handguards, includes upper and lower, plain black, these things look awesome and keep the classical AK look. Brand new, never even mounted on a gun: $30 shipped
  12. Seriously what's the point of having a raddlock on a damn Saiga 12. Why didn't you just not put a pistol grip? You essentially neutered the rifle completely just for a pistol grip, lol.
  13. There is honestly something wrong with you, isn't there? There is never a story posted about a officer getting hurt here without you expressing your joy, here over their deaths. You have issues and need to seek treatment, your manic hyperbole does no one any good, specially this site. That is my opinion. I thought SOPMOD was a very intelligent political thinker, but the more and more I read his posts, it just seems like he's some crazy zionist fanatic conspiracy theorist living out in bumblefuck. I dont like the anti-cop talk either. My dad's cousin was a NJ State Trooper, highly d
  14. I saw the article on here and my jaw dropped at the picture. I own a Ruger P95, it's a beautiful gun that I've shot over a thousand rounds in without any sort of hiccup at all, I carry it every day and it holds up just find, and the thing cost me only $360. When I saw Ruger making a 556 like that I thought holy shit, there's gonna be an AR for peanuts! Then I saw the $2k price tag when I scrolled down. FUCK.
  15. it uses a pressure switch to go on/off is 150 lumens good? does a laser need to be zeroed like a scope does?
  16. I know who you're talking about, heh. Perhaps banning people who make pretty much no contribution and just bitch all the time and insult forum members would send a message. Perhaps just warnings, "Keep trolling and you're gone." If I was a troll in most of my posts, I'd expect to be banned, unfortunately the current message seems to be unless you go out of your way to insult a business member, keep up your trolling. Don't get me wrong, I'm in to Freedom of Speech, but being a troll/dick/asshole/bitch isn't a Right, it isn't even a privilege, it is just a way of living a very pathetic
  17. what the fuck? you can point a gun out the window in an urban area and not get a visit from the Spetsnatz? RUSSIA IS AWESOME
  18. Why is this discussion still going on? Which Saiga is best at 500 yards? None its a fuckin kalashnikov you'd be lucky to hit a man sized target at 200 yards with it. Get a bolt action rifle, like a Savage, end of thread. Can the mods please close this? FYI, the rifles like to SVD, Tabuk, PSL, etc. are NOT "Sniper Rifles" they are "DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLES" intended to increase the effective range of fire of a Soviet infantry squad, not to provide sniper fire. Roles Snipers work either independently or temporarily attached to another unit. Designated marksmen are integral me
  19. Check all local, state and federal laws. Does your state have an AWB? Check it. Look up 922r here on the boards, make sure you follow it.
  20. +1 I used the duplicolor 500 to refinish the bottom of my receiver as well. cleaned the surface with the duplicolor brand degreasing wipe, gave it a nice sanding with fine sandpaper and tossed a coat on. looks great. costs next to nothing. and best of all, even a sissy like me can do the work.
  21. In my high school history classes, we spent over 2 months straight in each class learning about the indians and the slave trade. at no point in high school did we learn about WW1, WW2, the civil war, late 1800's immigrations, or contemporary history here in NJ.
