does this mean i can use the stock screws on the tapco stock or what? -
Ok so I bought the TAPCO synthetic warsaw length AK stock. it comes with a little drill bit to pre drill holes in it and the mounting screws. However the mounting screws, are really well, wimpy. I mean they're less than half the diameter of the ones the factory stock was held on with. Will these screws even hold up? looks like theyd fall apart instantly. If i get a slightly larger drill bit, would I be able to drill larger holes into the TAPCO stock and use the factory screws on the TAPCO stock?

I love how the reports use establishment bias. For example. on the gun control side they interview regular people, grassroots activists, former victims, etc. For the pro gun crowd, they interview only big establishment figures like NRA officials, gun show organizers, etc. and call them "the gun lobby" and not regular gun owners, average joe's, people whose lives have been saved by self defense with a firearm.

awesome, thanks. I ordered one and wil be cutting it to try and make my own. i let you guys know how it went.

Also, is that gas tube on DPH site, does that ventilated thing come off so I can put my own upper handguard on it?
-
no... you need the upper gas tube.. and then either the bolt on lower hand guard retainer OR a press on one and a decent amount of work... You say $85... Are you asking about the whole conversion, or just Dinzag's retainer? Here's the full handguard conversion: Tube will probably be $10 - $20; handguard upper & lower (sets or individual parts) can run anywhere from $25 - $60+; the retainer can run from $5 - $15 if you want to make your own bolt-on retainer, otherwise Dinzag's bolt-on retainer is $85. At the lower end of the scale (before shipping), call it $15 for the tube, $35

Will an AK 74 Gas tube fit on a Saiga .223?
